Learning centers teach kids valuable information to use in real life. Formal education is introduced to children to advance and succeed in their desired professions. Vocational training aims to improve skills for a particular job. Following the train of thought, what should be taught appropriately for children aged 2 to 5?
A daycare center primarily teaches youngsters about values and basic skills (drawing, writing, coloring, etc.). It also helps hone their cognitive skills to engage with other children. However, it is not the case with our daycare.
Our preschool in Plano also teaches kids about culture, traditions, and identity, specifically holidays. While holidays every year are countable, they help shape children and learn about traditions and how to value them. As grown-ups, we understand the value of every holiday. We at Davenport Montessori value our traditions during holidays, and we’ll be glad to pass them on to your kids.
We help youngsters experience joy and fun during holidays while also learning traditions. For example, we teach them the real essence of Valentine’s Day. We do it by engaging them in activities like creating cards and instructing them to give them to their parents. By doing so, they can apply their creativity to show and understand their love for their parents or other loved ones. This is how our child daycare teaches values and basic skills to children.
