Our daughter is 7 months old and has been attending Davenport since she was 3 months old. Since joining, we love how she’s grown to be more social with others, learned to play independently and comes home everyday smiling. My husband and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the choice to send her to Davenport and appreciate the communication and attention our daughter receives on a daily basis.
Of all the daycares we toured, we ultimately chose Davenport because of Soni’s transparency about what we could expect and the positive feedback from real-time moms. As a first time mom, it’s very overwhelming to trust a stranger with the care of your child. But with each day, we felt more and more confident in our decision and would recommend Davenport to any of our friends. Our daughter comes home fed on the schedule we provide to the staff, and her naps have improved as she’s grown accustomed to others playing around her. All of the teachers are friendly and welcoming. Soni is willing to work with our revolving schedule and, most importantly, our daughter is happy every day and learning new skills.
Our daughter has been at Davenport since she was about 8 months old (and is now almost 2). We have had a great experience so far and have no plans to leave. I love the staff – Miss Soni (the owner) is so caring and attentive and provides very individualized care. Her staff has been the same since we started at Davenport – in my view, very low turnover like that is rare and is a sign of a great school. My daughter has friends at school and runs inside every day. The other thing I love about Davenport is the emphasis on outside time. It is so important for toddlers to spend tons of time outside. Miss Soni emphasizes outside play time and when the weather is nice the kids will be out for a lot of the day. I highly recommend!!
My daughter has been going to Davenport Montessori for a little under a year and we absolutely love it! Her development has increased such an incredible amount! She started a couple months before she turned two and had a very limited vocabulary, she is now communicating in complete thoughts and sentences!! She knows her abc’s in English and Spanish and continues to come home counting to higher numbers each week! The owner, Soni, truly loves what she does and has created a warm and welcoming environment which children thrive in! Would highly recommend Davenport Montessori!!!
My son has grown tremendously in the last year he has been at Davenport Montessori. The staff here have really helped him with his speech and potty training. He has become more social and speaks nonstop about his teacher and Ms. Soni. I like how they keep me posted on his progress and what he needs help with. It’s that extra touch that makes this such a great environment for young kiddos.
We have been sending our son here for the past year —since he was 8 months old. He’s now 1 and a half and loves going to Davenport Montessori.

What A Blessing
What a blessing it has been having my daughter go this school. The teachers are so caring and helpful! As a teacher myself, I am always impressed with the way they do things. They are organized, “on top of things”, and so happy! The school is very clean, and I love seeing the older kids helping out around the school. It’s been over two months now and my son seems really happy here and is doing well. What I really liked about this place: it’s always so clean! Sheer Excitement
Davenport is exactly what we were looking for! Not only does our son love his teachers and classmates, there is also a curriculum in place so that he isn’t just playing but learning daily. We were initially impressed with the cleanliness and transparency Soni provides, and our 2 year old cemented our decision with his noticeable progress and sheer excitement. Very happy to continue to grow with Davenport and I would definitely recommend.

I could not be happier with Davenport. Both of my Toddlers love it and we have received exceptional support and care from the staff. The teachers are kind and laid-back but professional. The facilities are quite nice and have been continually upgraded since we started in June 2017. Soni ensures 100% excellence in all at the center yet also ensures a lot of love – she treats my kids like her own. The staff has thrown two 1st Birthday Parties for my kids, which means the world to me as we have no local family. The other families at Davenport are kind and very, very diverse – a big highlight for me as I want my kids to grow up with people from all different backgrounds in their lives. We will be loyal and very happy customers for as long as we’re in Dallas – highly, highly recommended.
Our First daycare Experience
Davenport is a great place, the teachers all treat my son as if he is their own. They send home daily reports, that track diaper changes, feedings, and if anything additional is needed (which is very helpful). Soni, the director is very personable, attentive, there to help ease your mind and let you know your child is being taken care of. She has a great team and has a solid foundation. I’m happy about my decision and our first daycare experience, especially when I see that my son has a big smile at the end of the day when I come to pick him up.
He’s 10 months going on 11 and has been going here since he was 4 months old, if this helps you mom’s / parents out there to gauge.
A Place the children can feel loved and have fun.
Our family loves Davenport Montessori! Ms. Soni maintains a wonderful school and is very dear to us. Our oldest son just started kindergarten and thanks to the time spent at Davenport, he was extremely well prepared. We appreciate the smaller classes and loving environment. Ms. Soni is dedicated to giving the kids a great education and making it a place the children can feel loved and have fun. We would recommend this school to anyone.

I chose Davenport Montessori initially because it’s super close to my job. It’s turned out to be a great place for my son. He turns 2 in a couple of weeks and he can already recite his ABCs and count to 20. We are really close to being able to identify letters too! So amazing! He’s learning so much and we are so grateful for Soni and staff!
From my first week, I knew my little guy was in a safe way.
I am a first time mother and had to go back to work and find a place to watch my little baby boy during the day. I was already nervous about this transition and having to leave my baby someplace everyday but Soni at Davenport made it easier. From the first week, I knew my little guy was in a safe place. He is fed on time, his diaper is changed frequently (I have never seen a bad diaper here or a rash) and the ladies watching him just love him and play with him and the babies all day! They are each loved on all day! Soni will even send me a pic of him enjoying himself so I can relax during my work day and see his big smile! The ladies watching over the babies are on top of everything and keep a clean and sanitized daycare and they have good security in place for the children. My twin sister brings her baby here too and they have accommodated us to make sure these little cousins are together everyday. Also, any special request we have for our little guy is listened to and followed which is a huge peice of mind. I love this place and I am very glad we found it!
